Excellent! THELEICO awarded "Best supplier"

Grinding specialist from the Sauerland region Well equipped for the future

THELEICO, manufacturer of grinding discs and wheels for industrial applications from Mesched in South Westphalia, has been granted the award "Best Supplier 2013" by the German Spring Federation (VDFi). Among a total of 193 suppliers, the Sauerland-based family-owned company has thus managed to secure first place in the competition for the best supplier in the category of "process materials". And not for the first time: THELEICO is the only company to have obtained this award for the third time already. "We are proud of this award. It demonstrates the consistently high quality of our products and the outstanding service," states managing director Frank Grans delightedly. The award is only granted every three years, since analysis and assessment are carried out over this long period. Among other things, the jury assessed criteria such as rate of complaints and handling of complaints in the company, meeting delivery deadlines and delivery schedules, quality of service and technical service.

THELEICO manufactures high quality precision grinding tools which are used in many different areas of industrial applications, for example in the processing of springs, in gear and motor construction, in processing of rollers, or in rail and track construction. The medium-size company puts the focus on good service by giving technical support and expert advice to their customers. THELEICO products are in demand all over the world.

The company, which is one of the market leaders in its segment in Europe, is excellently equipped for the future: the past years have seen a continuous growth path. THELEICO used the positive development to invest heavily at its headquarters in the Hochsauerland region. Plant and machinery have been continuously modernised, premises expanded and extended and personnel development actively encouraged. During the last five years alone, the company has expanded production capacities at its headquarters three times, and work is currently starting on the most recent hall covering around 1,100 square metres. Up to 250,000 grinding wheels and abrasives which are individually tailored to the respective requirements are meanwhile produced annually in South-Westphalia. "Our growth ensures our future viability at the Meschede site. We have a powerful and motivated team here, our long-standing and experienced staff ensure a high process know-how. By using modern CNC-based systems they create products which meet the highest quality standards," states managing director Frank Grans. At the Meschede site, THELEICO trains industrial clerks, industrial mechanics, machining mechanics and industrial ceramic engineers.
